Installation Instructions for AS-1048PT Bolt on brake pedal bracket and master cylinder mount for 1948-1954 Chevy Pickup Truck

For power or manual brake application.

1. Remove rivets holding original master cylinder mount to frame. Retain original holes for later use by drilling out the rivets carefully.

2. New pedal mount will install below frame lip on inside where the original master cylinder was located.

3. Top and side holes in the new pedal mount should line up with rivet holes already in frame. Keep in mind that these are rivet holes and will vary from frame to frame. Drill or file out any mismatched holes to accept required bolts. Finish mounting by locating and drilling out bottom mounting holes. Install all bolts and tighten.

4. Install new pedal with appropriate push rod for power booster or manual master cylinder. This mount has a dual patern for use with either a power booster or a manual master cylinder. Use the female heim end only for power.

5. Installer is responsible for determining the appropriate travel and final operation.
